First the Play - The Curing Fox

When a young girl falls ill with a terrible cough, the old old healer woman sends her father out in the snow to track a young fox. To save his daughter, he must save the fox, for the two are deeply connected. This touching story will captivate children and adults alike. Most appropriate for ages 2 - 9.


Then the "Play"

After the performance, the children are invited to play with the performers! Known as "Original Play", this is an opportunity to the kids to interact with the performers one on one. The kids are invited to come onto the mats and crawl, roll and tumble on, under and all around the performers. See website www.originalplay.com for more info.

First the Play - The Snake with Seven Heads

Everyone loves to watch Manjusa dance. When a terrible curse turns her husband into a snake with seven heads, she must protect him from the fears of the villagers. And to break the spell she must dance and dance and dance. Filled with traditional music, this touching story will captivate children and adults alike. Most appropriate for ages 2 - 9.


Then the "Play"
After the performance, the children are invited to play with the performers! Known as "Original Play", this is an opportunity to the kids to interact with the performers one on one. a folk tale from Scotland

A kind beekeeper befriends a mysterious blue eyed hare. With the help of his bees, a wise gypsy woman and his brave heart, he finds a way to free the Hare from an enchantment on All Hallows Eve. This delightful story, filled with lively music and engagingly physical performances will captivate children and adults alike. Most appropriate for ages 2 - 9.

This is the story of how Doctor Bird taught Mouse to look up when she was feeling down. Mouse has lost her house! So the magical hummingbird, Doctor Bird comes to cheer her up. The funny little woman loves to laugh, and to make delicious rice dumplings. She is captured by the wicked Oni who wants her to make rice dumplings for him alone. This is the story of a rat. A dissatisfied rat who wishes to be something other than what he is. When his wish comes true, he discovers that there is no end to wishing, and eventually learns to be at peace with himself.
