First the Play

The funny little woman loves to laugh, and to make delicious rice dumplings. She is captured by the wicked Oni who wants her to make rice dumplings for him alone. She must use her wits and her sense of humor to escape. Filled with music, this comic story will captivate children and adults alike. Most appropriate for ages 2-9 years old.

Then the "Play"

After the performance, the children are invited to play with the performers! Known as "Original Play", this is an opportunity to the kids to interact with the performers one on one. The kids are invited to come onto the mats and crawl, roll and tumble on, under and all around the performers. See website www.originalplay.com for more info.

First the Play

This is the story of a rat. A dissatisfied rat who wishes to be something other than what he is. When his wish comes true, he discovers that there is no end to wishing, and eventually learns to be at peace with himself. Filled with movement and music, this playful story will captivate children and adults alike. Most appropriate for ages 2-9.

Then the "Play"

After the performance, the children are invited to play with the performers! Known as "Original Play", this is an opportunity to the kids to interact with the performers one on one. The kids are invited to come onto the mats and crawl, roll and tumble on, under and all around the performers. See website www.originalplay.com for more info.

Play after Play in 2008 - New Schedule

We want to inform you of some changes to our schedule in 2008:

We will now be holding Play after Play events every OTHER month.

Our next regular program will be held in February.

BUT - We will be holding ONE special show in January:

This show is in conjunction with a special event that weekend. Fred Donaldson, the person we trained with in the Original Play (the play after the play) will be holding a playshop training. I will be sending more information on the playshop soon.

A heartwarming tale of faery ingenuity and human generosity. A poor woodcutter rescues a forest faery from harm and is given in return the gift of a single wish. He must find a way to use his gift to benefit all of his loved ones. Filled with movement and music, this sweet story will captivate children and adults alike. Most appropriate for ages 2-9 years old.
